Suzy’s Senior Services offers full-time and part-time hours with various schedules available to accommodate you and our clients. Our pay is competitive depending on qualifications and experience.

Caregiver Job Responsibilities

The duties of our senior care professionals depend on the custom needs of each client. 

Common in-home care duties include:

  • Companionship
  • Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Personal care support (grooming, dressing, bathing, toileting, etc.)
  • Meal planning and cooking
  • Medication management 
  • Laundry and light housekeeping
  • Transportation
  • Running local errands

Caregiver Qualifications

We need caring, hardworking, compassionate team members. Your attitude and gentle touch are as important as your professional qualifications. 

We expect caregivers to be:

  • Compassionate and understanding
  • Patient and proactive
  • Good listeners with strong communication skills
  • Positive, friendly, and warm
  • Skilled in time management and organization
  • Observant with an attention to detail

 

In addition to these demonstrated traits, other qualifications or certifications such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or CPR/First Aid may be required depending on staffing needs.

Driver Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

Common Senior Transportation Drivers duties include:

  • Friendly Customer Service
  • Ability to physically push or load a wheelchair or walker.
  • Time Management
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to assist clients with through the door service.
  • Great communication with Dispatchers
  • Driving wheelchair accessible van
