    Thank you Suzy for the services you provide. I’m so grateful I found your services and do not know what I would have done without those special ladies who come in and help me and care for my hubby. Your people come in like a breath of fresh air, all bubbly and happy, not only lifting up our spirits but cleaning and bathing Jim too. I still cry every time Aimee and Jayme make my bed. The other Amy is so good with Jim and gets him into a bath twice a week, and manages to get him clean and shiny, which is just a big fight with him for me.  She gets Jim talking about his past and they laugh together. These services allow me to take a breath and focus on other things that were slipping out of control.  Again, I’m so very grateful for the fact that you, Suzy, are willing to provide these services and find the fantastic people to come in and give the loving care they do to people they don’t even know!

  • Suzy’s Services has worked as one of our contracted service provider panels for Home and Community-Based Programs for the elderly and people with disabilities since July 2016, and for Utah Medicaid Aging Waiver Program for the elderly with Medicaid since July 2017.

    As the director of Weber/Morgan Area Agency on Aging, I can testify that our employees have rated Suzy’s Senior Companionship Services among the high-ranking of our 31 providers every year since 2016. Suzy’s Services’ prominent features are as follows; qualified and reliable care attendants (nursing assistants) for our clients, highly competent supervision and management of their employees, timely intervention in emergency situations for our clients.

  • It is my pleasure to write this letter to recommend Suzy’s Senior Transportation.

    Suzy Larsen is a joy to work with as a provider of transportation for seniors unable to drive themselves. In my past involvement with Suzy, I have watched her make it a point to learn about each client, their situation and needs, and then she does her best to match a driver/ attendant who can serve them best. Suzy strives to be careful and exact in her work. She is personable and makes herself reachable for any contact needed, responding quickly. Suzy’s transport staff are kind, helpful and prompt drivers who fulfill the duties they are arranged to do. I’ve also been impressed to see Suzy herself step in and provide a ride if a driver can’t help that day.

    Suzy’s Senior Transportation provides a wonderful service that is needed badly in northern Utah. We have rural areas that are not served by public transportation and the one-on-one assistance helps customers feel safe and attended to. The individualized service offered to clients is so meaningful to those unable to drive themselves. Her drivers are friendly and conscientious in their care and assistance to those they serve and the customers love and trust their drivers.

    If Suzy’s Senior Transportation has an opportunity to be supported to grow and serve additional clients that will be a wonderful benefit to the communities and customers they serve.

    Suzy’s standard of care is not “just the normal”. She is compassionate, generous, and sets the bar high when it comes to taking care of mom. She cleans and helps with errands but above all, she is a great friend and it is obvious she genuinely cares about mom’s well-being. My mom adores her, looks forward to their time together and we know that in Suzy’s care she is always safe.   • Suzy’s Senior Companionship Services is a crucial part of my mother’s care. It started very simple, with a weekly swim outing, yet has grown to be so much more.

    My mother can be challenging and struggles to have friendships but Suzy stepped right in and formed a dear friendship with her so that now my mother asks when Suzy is coming to take her out!

    Suzy made the swim outings a delight for my mom and as she got to know my mother, she thought of different outings that my mom would enjoy. Every outing is a treat for my mom, often it’s the highlight of my mother’s week. Our family is so grateful my mom enjoys these meaningful outings.

    Suzy has also stepped in and taken my mom shopping for clothes, or other needed items when our family was busy. Suzy’s attentiveness to my mom is often how we learn what is needed. We’ve come to rely on Suzy to let us know if/when my mother needs certain things.

    One outstanding incident was a cracked shower that was growing black mold. Suzy noticed this before any of us and notified not only us, but the facility. She got them to fix the problem, even though it took a few reminders to the facility. Suzy is determined to make sure my mom’s room is properly cared for, and we appreciate that greatly.

    After months of Suzy’s service, I’ve found it to be trustworthy, compassionate, thoughtful, and supportive. I feel lucky that we discovered Suzy’s Senior Companionship Services, which is more than a service, it’s living, breathing people who care about those they care for.

    It’s such a relief for us, the children, to have someone we can call, someone who knows my mom’s needs, plus her quirks and her favorites. Suzy’s Senior Companionship Services takes some of the burden off our shoulders, we know our mom is out enjoying herself, and being carefully watched.

    Thank you is not enough, but it’s a start. So, thank you to Suzy’s Senior Companionship Services for all the heart behind the name. Our mother is better for your care, friendship and time well spent.

  • I am ever so grateful and blessed that we found Suzy for my Mom!

    I was looking for companionship for her that was genuine and someone that I knew was consistent, not ever changing, a friend, a confident, and a true fun person that would understand Mom’s needs. She is healthy, with just a constant need to wear her oxygen, but she is independent and very challenging in that she is active and creative and clearly not afraid of hard work. At 89 years old, she is still planting flowers, sewing, painting, decorating, and loves to go out to eat! I was referred to Suzy from the county senior citizens resource, and it was the best thing that ever happened! Mom has a true friend in Trena who visits once a week and they do the things that need to get done and then they have some fun! It is like having another daughter, but better, a real friendship. Trena keeps me informed of their activities and watches Mom for signs of health issues. She’s even been with Mom in ER due to a fall that occurred prior to her arrival at her apartment. She is caring, sincere, fun, a good listener, and truly tends to every need Mom has. My Mom loves Fridays because she gets to see Trena. We’ve adjusted times and days a few times, and Mom would love to see her every day! I feel so good knowing Trena is part of Mom’s life, as I am 1200 miles away in Illinois. With a brother and sister close by, Trena compliments Mom’s care just as if she were part of the family. Suzy is incredibly caring, as well, and has checked on Mom several times. This is the most genuine and caring business owner I have ever known. Suzy has high standards and is driven by loving and caring for our seniors. It shows in all they do!

  • This is my first “fan” letter! Almost two years ago I moved to Utah. Being a very “senior” citizen and no longer driving an automobile, it was important to find the resources so that I could maintain living independently. I was introduced to Mrs. Suzy Larsen!

  • I’ve never had anything but love and compassion from Suzy.

    I have been using Suzy’s services for over 8 years. I believe I’m in the category of some of Suzy’s first customers. Our association has always been very compatible. Suzy has cleaned my house, ran my errands, gassed my car, worked in my yard, etc. All I have to do is call her and my needs are taken care of immediately. If I leave a message, Suzy calls me as soon as she possibly can.

    I’ve had several of Suzy’s helpers work for me also. I’ve never had any problems. Every association has been loving and kind. My problems have all been met with understanding and taken care of as soon as possible.

    I am almost 84 years old and have never been neglected in any way when I’ve needed help. I have always been treated with love and respect. Suzy is a wonderful, kind, compassionate person and sees that all the people she hires are the same way. I trust her with my life and consider Suzy one of my dearest friends. She always has time to listen which is very important to a person my age and in my position. I live alone and don’t have any family nearby.
